Dr Martial Godo (PhD) is the Founder and CEO of Kings Business Academy. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organisational Behaviour (Business and Management), with expertise in Human Resources Management, from the Royal Docklands School of Business and Law (RDSBL), University of East London.
His doctoral research project, “A Critical Analysis of Leadership, Economic Development and Institutional Transformation: The Experience of Rwanda”, examined how leadership shapes economic development and institutional change.
His academic journey spans four London universities: a BA (Hons) in Political Science & International Relations from London Guildhall University, an MA in International Relations (International Diplomacy) from the University of Westminster, an MBA from Ulster University Business School, and his PhD from the University of East London.
Dr Godo is currently a full-time Lecturer in Global Business and Entrepreneurship at the Global Business School (GBS), in partnership with Oxford Brookes University in London. He previously served as Associate Lecturer in Business and Management (HRM) at the University of East London (UEL), and as Associate Lecturer in Business Management and Leadership at UCL's Global Business School for Health, teaching MBA and MSc modules spanning organisational behaviour and global strategy, HR and finance, leadership, coaching and mentoring, and dissertation supervision. He is also the proprietor of two businesses.
As an entrepreneur, he founded Kings Business Academy to give the business community a better understanding of the much-misunderstood concept of entrepreneurship, through business services and short professional training courses for business owners, entrepreneurs, managers, start-ups and staff, and anyone willing to learn the fundamentals of business.
Marie-Chantal Godo (MBA) is the Academy's Director for Operations & Events Organisation. She oversees the day-to-day running of Kings Business Academy and the organisation of its training events, from course scheduling and venues to the experience delegates receive on the day.
